VCA Anderson's Corner Animal Hospital has an opportunity for you to join our incredible team! We are hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our hospital.
We are currently offering $1000 signing bonus and $1000 longevity bonus for this role!
About Us
We are a 2 doctor small animal practice offering Primary Care, Dentistry, and Surgery, including orthopedic surgery.
Our hours are Monday through Friday 7am-6pm, closed weekends! Check out our website here:
About the Role
Whether you are a seasoned Veterinary Technician or recent graduate, we want you to use the knowledge that you've invested your time and talent in. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:
Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures
Venipuncture and IVC placement
Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.
Surgical preparation and assisting
Anesthesia monitoring
Dentistry
Treatment plans, medical recordkeeping
Discharge instructions with clients when they are able to bring their furry family member back home with them
Provide compassionate patient care, recognizing subtle change in clinical status
Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team
Schedule: Full-time, but we will consider Part-time as well.
Compensation: $23 - $26/hr. Range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
